Warm & Cheesy White Bean Dip

***Edited — This recipe is naturally gluten free.  Many of the recipes in this book are marked as wheat-free, which as many of you know doesn’t necessarily mean gluten free.  But if one is knowledgeable about GF ingredients a lot of the recipes are usable for those with celiac disease. ***

Last night we were looking for something on which to snack.  I pulled out Eat, Drink, & Be Vegan to look for a new recipe.  I’ve been pleased with sthe results of several recipes in this book and decided to try another.  I had all the ingredients for “Warm & Cheesy White Bean Dip” so I gave it a whirl.

The dip was quick and easy to make.  Let’s see what the judges (the family) thought of the taste.

  • Sonya — I really like it!
  • Guy — Didn’t care for it.  (He doesn’t like nutritional yeast or the taste of vinegar and he could taste both.)
  • Nolan — It was OK.
  • Jesse — Wouldn’t even taste it.  (This is the picky eater who decides he doesn’t like things just by looking at them.)

The verdict — I would make it again for me and for guests to try.
